Commander's Steering Committee

The 1^st District Commanders Steering Committee is made up of three (3) individuals (members / past commanders).

These individuals are to act as mentors and guide the Commander throughout the year.

The Committee Chairman uses their experience in the functions and traditions of the 1^st District to assist the Commander by listening and offering options, both pro and con, to various situations; but never by dictating solutions. You are the Commander’s sounding board.

 Members will

• Attend 1^st District Executive Board Meetings, as non-voting members, with up-to-date reports of any committee(s) they serve on.
• Report to the 1^st District Mid-Winter and 1^st District Convention.
• Prepare an annual report to the District Commander for distribution at the 1^st District Convention.
• Attend the Department Convention and Fall Conference to get the most up-to-date information available, so that he / she can inform the 1^st District members through the 1^st District Bulletin.
